Color Trends

Similarly to Fall 2019, we are seeing deeper hues melting into this year’s holiday décor. Whereas green, red and gold continue to create a timeless holiday look, navy, teal green, and plum are becoming alternative color choices for those looking to create a deeper atmosphere.  For those looking for more ethereal ambiance, can choose to incorporate blush and sage in their holiday décor themes.  As for us, we love it all!

Luxurious Fabric

Another way to spruce up this year’s decorations is to incorporate heavier, more luxurious fabrics such as velvet and faux fur into your décor with pillows and throws.  Alternatively, velvet napkin rings or placemats can be a great way to add depth to your table setting.  Likewise, faux fur rugs placed on the floor or draped over chairs can create the same warmth throughout your home.

Faux Antlers

Faux antlers are also a trend you can carry over into winter from your fall décor.  While these small touches have been around for a bit, they are still an excellent way to add an element of surprise to your holiday décor in 2019.  Use them in floral arrangements, as candleholders or ornaments to add a touch of ruggedness to softer toned color pallets such as sage or blush.

Llamas

Boy oh boy do we love this fun and unexpected trend.  Llamas along with festive South American influenced color pallets are an excellent way to liven up your holiday!  This trend appeals to those looking to for fun and festive this holiday season and what is better to snuggle up with than a fluffy llama pillow or stuffed animal?
