My family has a long history of love stories & long, affectionate marriages.  My mom always told me that before she agreed to marry my dad she had to decide if she could live with his quirky habits.  She decided she could obviously since he’s my father.  The point is, we all have quirky things we do that can get on anyone’s nerves.  And, your significant other has things that really bother you after all these years or maybe not so many years.  Why not take this week, the week of love, amour, lieben, amor to ignore that dish left in the sink, socks left on the floor, bed unmade, drinking out of the carton, etc.  Bring back the twinkle in your lover’s eye by doing for them instead of waiting for them to do for you.  Being in love is a beautiful gift.  Be sure to show it off.
