February 25, 20194 Organizing Habits to Reap Lucky Rewards
March 11, 2019With Daylight Savings Time starting this Sunday morning, – YIKES! – it seems very appropriate to talk about the lack of sleep most of us experience. The zombie shows are so popular because most of us are walking zombies ourselves & we see ourselves in those shows.
It’s a tricky thing to get a really good night’s rest. A lot of people thinks it’s just about luck; all the right conditions coming together at just the right time. I agree you need a little bit of luck – and March is the perfect time for that – but there is one little Leprechaun who is stealing your luck & your sleep…..the Clutter Leprechaun.
The Clutter Leprechaun seems innocuous. He’s so cute with his green suit and matching top hat but he’s creating havoc just the same.
All those piles of clutter on your desk, by the back door, in your car, at the foot of your bed, on your nightstand, on your wardrobe closet floor, all over your bathroom sink, in the laundry room, your junk drawer—Why do you want junk in your home?—on the coffee table, the kitchen countertops or anywhere else you have random, homeless items creating stress. That stress lives in your subconscious, dancing around in your head while you try to sleep.
To prepare for our loss of that priceless hour of sleep, help yourself recover more quickly by doing all the right things.
- Clear any piles on or around your bed
- Go to bed early
- Practice a relaxing bedtime routine
- No caffeine or alcohol after 3PM
AND start dealing with your unfinished business that are your piles of clutter.

I started organizing from a very early age. As a teenager, I tried very hard to have a messy room but only ended up having messy piles that were neatly arranged. Later in life, my friends started asking me to help them organize their closets, homes, garages, etc. It's something I love to do!
Now, I have started a Professional Organizing business to do what I love to do everyday and at the same time help people take control of their lives and spaces.
