Now that you’ve updated your wardrobe and are feeling sassy in your new fall fashions, have you felt your man is looking a little slouchy? Sometimes those nearest to us need the nudge. They might be asking for the nudge, but their clothes are.
Wider Ties
Skinny, 60’s inspired ties are out and wide ties are in. Think 70’s wide….but not 70’s prints and maybe not quite that wide. The 2” wide tie has grown to the 3” wide tie.
Quilted Jackets
An English, quilted jacket paired with jeans and a long sleeved T-shirt is perfect for your man to wear to brunch with you Saturday morning or will make him look super sexy when he brings donuts for everyone at that early soccer game.
This is a pricey version, but there are many options out there.
Like this one from The Gap.
Knits
Why do we love our men in knit cardigans & sweaters? Because they look polished and oh so cuddly. If you can get yours to wear one without getting overheated, the rest of us say thank you.
Double Breasted Coats
The 80’s are back with a vengeance for women…skip this trend please unless you are younger than 25. For men, let them embrace a double breasted coat or jacket…..there might be one hanging in the back of the closet.
There are a couple of other trends your man probably already has hanging in his closet; anything bright red or bright orange. We aren’t talking Aggie burgundy or UT burnt orange. It could be a tie, socks, sweater, golf shirt or even a T-shirt. A trend to leave alone…. jogging suits. They still won’t make your man look hot unless he’s Lebron James.
