Survey Reveals that “Fall Cleaning” could soon be the New Favorite
September 6, 2016Fantastic Options for Your Charitable Donations in DFW
September 16, 2016Here at Styled & Organized we are constantly on the lookout for the latest and greatest organizing tools for our clients. We are really excited about this one and the timing is perfect with the kids getting back to school. The Keepy app is an easy way to tackle the piles of artwork, schoolwork, awards and photos that accumulate so quickly throughout the school year. If you still have piles of last years’ work, then all the more reason to check this out.
The Keepy app is a free download for your smart phone. Using the app remains free for up to 5 uploaded memories for each child per month. Otherwise you can choose the “Keepy Unlimited” options of $2.99/month or $9.99/year for an unlimited number of memories per child. You can access it from Apple’s App Store, Google Play, and Amazon. It allows you to organize, save and share (privately with select family and friends) all of your kids’ memorabilia by taking a picture of each and uploading it via the Keepy app. One of the most unique features of this app is the ability for you to record your child talking about each specific memory. The voice clip is then saved right along with the image that you are uploading, which further enhances the saved memory.
Grandparents, Aunts, Uncles, cousins (and just about anyone you can think of) can be invited by the parents to become a “fan” of each child. Once they accept the invitation, they can then view that child’s gallery and leave feedback for each memory via voice, video or text.
I just downloaded the free Keepy app to my iPhone to try myself. So far I find it very easy to use. It only took me about 3 minutes to download it and register the family. I was also able to quickly add a photo from my son’s 10th birthday celebration this past weekend. I think it will be fun to share this with the Grandparents to see what they think of the interface. If they find it easy to use, our family will get a lot of use out of this inexpensive tool.
I even discovered that in the Keepy settings you can link directly to a dropbox account. This is another way to make sure that my children’s memories are never accidentally “lost”.
