Clutter Proof Your Handbag
August 11, 2014How to Keep Your Family Car Clean
August 25, 2014Many of you are packing, moving & delivering your new high school graduate to college this very week. Whilst having tea with my right proper British friend yesterday during a send off visit to her college bound graduate, she showed me her impressive laundry directions & key she whipped up for Grace. They were clear, concise & laminated. I was impressed!
It made me realize that even if your graduate knows how to separate light from dark, the proper amount of detergent to use or when to air dry vs use the dryer, there are still things they might have yet to encounter. So to complete their packing for college, consider printing & laminating this Laundry Key & Stain Key for them.
It might just be something you want to also add to your laundry room in a lovely frame or inside a cabinet door. Typically, the only time we ever notice a garment care label is when some evil staining agent just attached itself to our favorite piece of clothing. It can happen any number of ways all of which are rarely the wearer’s fault. And, sometimes your family will tell you about their stains before you process the laundry, but inevitably, it is after. From the college bound to the homestead, everyone will be on the same page…..literally.
It’s hard, sad & exciting to send your child off to college. Sending them with a little bit of love disguised in a helpful tool can make it a wee bit easier.
I’m here to help you by disclosing my knowledge of how to organize & be prepared for any situation. I will show you tips & tricks through posts on the Styled & Organized Living Facebook page, @StyledOrganized on Twitter & the Styled & Organized Living Pinterest page. Some posts will be simple tools while others will be ideas to consider. But all will show you how to gain a little more control over your life through organization because Life is Better Organized!
