NAPO Conference: What I Learned
April 22, 2013What Have You Planned for the Summer?
May 6, 2013One week post NAPO 2013 Annual Conference in New Orleans: I continue to be amazed at all I learned. You arrive home from a conference exhausted. And did I mention with so much information swirling around in your head, it takes some time to sort it all out? Last week I wrote about some of the overall ideals that I learned: NAPO National, our industry and how to help at the local level. This week “What I Learned” is all about the fun, super cool, amazing new products that help get you & keep you organized.
Picture this….The expo has just opened with 80 different vendors displaying, explaining & giving out their wares. A murmuring across the large room slowly begins to build with random squeals of joy (caffeine did play a part here; after all it was 8 in the morning). One in a group of four is the first to arrive at the next booth and quickly exclaims, “OMG!” then turns to those lagging behind to excitedly wave them over to her newest find. They gather around. The squeals begin. Eyes are wide. Huge smiles erupt on their faces. Names are entered into the drawing for give-aways. Pictures are taken with the newest find. Something diverts one of the four’s attention and the process starts all over again. Yes, I know we are organizational nerds.
So here’s what we discovered!

These 3 were my absolute favorites, but of course I have more to share. Read my daily tips on the Styled & Organized Living Facebook page to find out the rest. Happy Organizing!
