August 17, 2015If Preparations Fail, Reorganize
August 31, 2015Are you prepared? Just this past May, a tornado hit the DFW Metroplex destroying homes. Were those people prepared? Would you be prepared for a tornado, fire, lightening or severe thunderstorm, flash flooding, hurricane or even an earthquake or terrorism? Those last two are new concerns in North Texas but have to be on your list. How do you prepare? Where do you even start?
September is National Preparedness Month. The government & First Responders work all during September to teach you how to be prepared for a natural disaster. The National Association of Professional Organizers, NAPO, & NAPO DFW have been working with national & local authorities through the years to help teach & spread the news.
Saturday, September 12th from 11AM-3PM, Klyde Warren Park will be full of emergency personal, NAPO DFW Professional Organizers & others to help get you started in your preparation.
Being prepared is as simple as storing important account & contact numbers for your insurance provider should your home be damaged. If all of that important information is only stored in your home & your home is destroyed, how will you know who to call?
Come out to see me 9/12/15 to find out more simple steps you can take to prepare your family.
I’m here to help you by disclosing my knowledge of how to organize & be prepared for any situation. I will show you tips & tricks through posts on the Styled & Organized Living Facebook page, @StyledOrganized on Twitter & the Styled & Organized Living Pinterest page. Some posts will be simple tools while others will be ideas to consider. But all will show you how to gain a little more control over your life through organization because Life is Better Stylishly Organized!
