Plan Now for Hanukkah & Christmas 2017
January 11, 2017Do This One Thing to Keep New Year’s Resolutions
January 23, 2017[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]In November 2016, the Styled & Organized team was contacted about a special family in desperate need of help. After two years of fighting her husband’s cancer and one child’s severe allergies, Renee was overwhelmed. Now a young widow with two small children, she was unable to see how to change their house back into their home. They needed help!
In three days, the Styled & Organized team lead a group of volunteers from Renee’s church and the children’s school to pack up the entire house so new flooring could be installed. After the new flooring was completed, we unpacked sorting, editing and organizing all along the way. We transformed a disorderly house back into a cozy, inviting home ready for the holidays.[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner width=”1/6″][/vc_column_inner][vc_column_inner width=”5/6″][vc_column_text]“Hey Leticia, I really don’t have adequate words. Hopefully one day I can put words on paper to express what I feel. This morning was the first morning in over a year that I did not dread the day and feel overwhelmed. I feel like I can breath now and a huge burden has been completely taken off me. THANK YOU! Those words just seem too simple.” Renee[/vc_column_text][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][vc_column_text]It was a lot of work, countless decisions made, physically demanding and really cold and rainy. But in the end, a mother with her two children were able to cuddle together and face their new reality as a family. We volunteers cuddled a little closer to our families that weekend, cherishing each one.[/vc_column_text][vc_row_inner][vc_column_inner][/vc_column_inner][/vc_row_inner][/vc_column][/vc_row]
