September 1, 2014It’s a universal truth: family cars get messy. With kids in the backseat and crammed schedules, stuff just seems to accumulate. Cheerios dust, sports equipment, trash, receipts, and other miscellaneous items end up in the car, and if you’re not careful, they can take over.
Professional organizers Lauren Silverman and Janis Levine told us about the mom who was able to pull together a school lunch from the piles on the floor and back seat: juice boxes, granola bars, wrapped packages of sandwich crackers. “While we admire her resourcefulness, we are a bit shocked at what was lurking beneath the cushions,” they said.
