It’s the most wonderful time of the year…which means there will be gifts to be wrapped with care.  Are you tired of using the same stick-on bows you use every year?  Are you looking to dress up your wrapping this year?  Well, you’ve come to the right place!  Check out some of our favorite wrapping ideas that will be sure to add that finishing polish to your holiday this year!

Use Leftover Ornaments

Adding unused ornaments to your gift wrapping can be a fun creative way to step up your wrapping game this year.  Either pick a single uniquely shaped ornament (think stars, snowman, candy cane, or snowflake) or a small cluster of like ornaments (think round or icicles).   Simply tie the ornament to a decorative ribbon and add it to a wrapped present or gift bag and voila!

Use Leftover Cookie Cutters

We all love those fun cookie cutters when we see them in the store. Sometimes though, you find out it’s too detailed and leaves an oddly shaped blob where your beautiful snowflake cookie should have been.  No worries, just repurpose those cookie cutters into Christmas wrap!  Similar to how you’d use the ornaments, just tie the cutter to a decorative ribbon and attach it to your gift or gift bag.

Initial It

Using initials can be a fun and functional way to step up your wrapping game this year!  Using either the initial of the person receiving the gift or of the gift giver, tie a letter onto you’re the present with a decorative ribbon.  Keep the theme for all your gifts this year.  So if you are using the initial of the recipients do that for all the people you are gifting to this holiday!  If you are using the gift giver initial, simply do the same for all presents!

Nature Inspired

Adding touches of nature to your gift wrapping is a great way to change things up while also extending the natural element of your tree into your gift wrap.  Use sprigs of pine (maybe even straight from your tree), pinecones, or poinsettia flowers to create this look.  Using a decorative ribbon attached the nature piece onto an already wrapped gift or onto a gift bag!
