If your schools are like most school districts, you have about 14 week days before school comes to an end. This CAN be a good thing if you are ready. Summer gives you time to do fun things with your kids & spend time with them making family memories.
I know you’re re-running in your mind last summer’s chaotic, crazy, messy, tiring, endless entertaining, endless feeding, nutty family film from last year. A weekend getaway with family is always a thankful respite. Baylor University played Iowa State University in Iowa where my two youngest nieces attend school. It was bitterly cold, windy & my team didn’t win, but the memories we made are priceless.

Today, I received a call from a mom with two small kids and one on the way. Her comment is one I hear a lot: “I used to be able to keep up with all the stuff before the kids!” When kids & life comes along, it creates more stuff for us to manage. It can get overwhelming!
